I’m Sarah Jayne. On March 1, 2021 my brother Mike passed away while serving a prison sentence related to his substance abuse disorder. He was only thirty-three years old. This is a blog about us, his story as seen through my eyes, and my own experience with grief in all its complexities.

Hi, I’m Sarah Jayne. I am the only daughter of 5 children. I have two older brothers and two younger. I am also a wife and a mother of three. I have a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a specialization in leadership development, and I enjoy helping individuals and organizations to improve.
